The Artist

Michelle Ripari, who resides in Melbourne’s Western suburbs, has loved drawing for as long as she can remember. Michelle completed a Bachelor of Teaching and also a Graduate Diploma of Special Education, moving from Bendigo to work as a teacher in a specialist autistic school.

Although not been formally trained as an artist and solely self-taught, Michelle is continuously learning and evolving with her skills and technique using graphite, coloured pencils, and more recently, watercolour pencils and ink.

“I create highly detailed drawings with pencil, a representation of both imagination and realism. Emotionally challenging the viewer, by portraying both nature and man-made subjects that continually collide, collaborate and intertwine. I am continually developing my skill and sharing my artistic story, by inspiring others who have a passion and respect in the intricate details surrounding them through their own journey.”
